WHAT IS A BAIL BOND?
A bail bond is a money guarantee that the defendant will appear in court. When a person is arrested and booked into the Madison County/Huntsville City Metro Jail, the Magistrate or the Arresting Officer will set bail. Bail is the amount of money the court holds as a guarantee that the defendant will appear at all court proceedings (hearing, trial, etc.) until the case is over. However, not everyone has thousands of dollars available for bail. This is the time to call All-Out Bail Bonds. All-Out Bail Bonds will provide the court the bond which represents the full amount of the bail that has been set. With that bond, All-Out Bail Bonds is telling the judge and the court that they personally guarantee the defendant will appear in court. Then the defendant is released from jail.
HOW DOES A BAIL BOND WORK?
Let's use the bail amount of $10,000 to demonstrate the Bail Bond Process. The cost of the bond is $1,000. That's the fee for All-Out Bail Bonds to put up the $10,000 and it is called the "Premium" OR "Bond Fee". You do not get the $1,000 back. Once the Defendant walks out of the jail, that money is spent. Whether they are out of jail for one day or one year, it's the same price. If charges are not filed, case dismissed, false arrest, etc. you do not get the "Premium" OR "Bond Fee" back. If the case continues over the course of several months to a year, the Defendant has the benefit of being free and being able to live a normal life in between court dates instead of being incarcerated. The Defendant will continue to stay out on bond as long as the terms of the bond which are to be set by All-Out Bail Bonds are met and the Defendant appears at all court dates until their case or cases are over.
